Early Preschool

children reading books“What hasn’t Dontae learned at Oxford Trails? He can recite colors, shapes, numbers, letters, and is now completely potty-trained! His confidence level has grown by leaps and bounds and he can’t wait to come and play with his friends.”

Early Preschool Room

Our Early Preschool Room begins to focus on making the transition from individual play to group interaction. Our dedicated teachers will guide your child in constructing important social skills, as well as building confidence through creative art, music and movement and self-expression. We introduce letters and numbers in a stimulating and hands-on approach.

Through our weekly theme based units, we provide exciting opportunities to foster decision making skills in a developmentally appropriate way. Our approach introduces the beginning stages of learning through a balance of teacher directed and child initiated activities and lessons.

This creates the perfect combination of learning, sharing and exploring and engages young minds to prepare them for the road to Preschool! Our curriculum and teaching methodologies are designed to enhance the physical, emotional and cognitive development through activities such as:

  • Language and Literacy Appreciation and Development
  • Early Math Concepts
  • Gross and Fine Motor Skills
  • Character Development and Life Skills
